Really? based on one ill-informed indignant? you will have a horribly boring life if you base your views on what anyone else thinks....why don't you educate yourself first, and THEN formulate your opinion. I could be wrong...after all, i've never met you. Is it wrong to have an opinion about something i haven't even given a chance?

Is it wrong to have an opinion that's also not being respected and is none of your buisness?

As I said, I've never saw it and I don't intend on seeing it soon. Enforcing that I should "educate" myself through another ill-informed indignant doesn't help change my outlook on a series I could care less about.

I saw part of an episode. the animation was terrible. one of the guys who did the voice of the movie store clerk on family guy plays the dad. The scene where he brings the cow in and she pees? exact,y the freaking same as family guys horse scene!

I actually enjoy bob's burgers. The last episode was quite funny and the second was very funny.

My first impression of this show when I watched the pilot was WTF? This looked like nothing more than a dull internet cartoon where all the female characters sounded like boys. I eventually warmed up to it though by around the second episode. I'm just glad it's not another Seth MacFarlane cartoon. I've had enough of those type of shows.

From what little of 'Bob's Burgers' I've watched, it doesn't seem very funny at all. Think that when it comes to comedy I'll stick with Family Guy.

I watched 3 episodes. I do think the character in question is supposed to be autistic (something that may not be clear if you have only seen the beginning of episode 1). Having said that, I thought the show was funny. Like others have mentioned, cartoons make fun of all types of people.

I find the show obscene. All they do to Tina is put her and the Autistic/Asperger's community down.

Having watched all the episodes of this show so far, I think some of us maybe a bit too harsh and judged too much from the pilot episode. Remember how offended people felt with the pilot ep of "Community"?

Some of you should consider giving this show another chance. The humor is different but to me it can still be enjoyable and much like Abed I can also relate to Tina. While it does seem like they were insulting Tina in the first episode, it is realistic of how people would've treated her and her possible autism in real life. And I do think the joke was more toward the stereotyping of autism than autism itself. The other irony is that Tina would be ridiculed for her odd behavior when everyone in that family is crazy.

Two Tina jokes on this show made me REALLY relate to this character. The first was the montage of Tina's childhood of stagefright especially when she's calling 9-1-1 and can't seem to get one single word out. I'm equally terrified of opening my mouth to say anything, even when it's an emergency. The other joke was when Tina was too upset to run the restaurant by herself and locks up but was too emotionally shutdown to realize there were still customers in the restaurant when she did. That's something that I know I am unintentionally capable of doing when I have a meltdown.

I know it's silly but it seemed comforting to relate to someone who's unintentionally a social and emotional mess and has awkward things to say in a Ralph Wiggum like matter. I relate to that kind of Aspie more than the super-geek, super-intelligent type that's often misassumed to be an Aspie. Tina's unusual manners and characteristics definitely fit Autism, high-functioning that is.

I forget the content of television and movies rather quickly, but a former friend of mine made me watch several episodes, and I remember that I at least mildly enjoyed them. I don't recall any references to autism, of course then I didn't know I was an Aspie, and didn't have a whole lot of knowledge on autism, so as offensive as it may or may not have been, I wouldn't of had a clue.

I've seen this show, I have aspergers, and Tina is probably my favorite character. She has a sense of humor only autistic people can understand, and I love the episodes centered around her

How is that different from the treatment Meg gets on Family Guy (or Hayley on American Dad)?

Sush you. Don't give them any ideas.

Meh, I don't get network TV anyway, and this doesn't surprise me since TV and movies in general began to suck anyway.

Get over it, we are an advocacy group here, not the Parents TV Council.

I hate the PTC. Do those people have a life?
