This may sound rude, but I really want to know if anyone else gets this. I've tried to ask my mum, but she thinks I'm just being dirty. But does anyone else have this tingling in your private part when you see a really cute man you really fancy? It sometimes hurts a bit (but in a good way) in my ovaries when I think really sexy thoughts about some of the men I really have a crush on. I feel embarrassed saying about this type of thing, but I've seen other really rude topics about how big you like to see a penis and so on, so I thought it's my turn to see if it's normal to get a tingling sort of pain in my female parts when I see of think about a man I fancy.

I think most women get it, but I've always been afraid to ask anyone, and nobody's ever said about it.
This is for NT aswell - this has got nothing to do with AS or anything.

It's called being horny... to say it bluntly and if you've hit puberty it's not something uncommon to have. As another woman, I've felt it, but it's not something you should mention to others as it's quite private. Neurotypicals will be bothered by it.

The get a tingling feeling downstair when you see someone you fancy is probably pretty normal. Most people are sexual beings and this kind of physical reactions are probably very common. It's just kinda taboo socially to talk about it.

When I was in college, my friends helped me to ask a boy out who I fancied. He said yes, which done my self-esteem a world of good. One of the girls in my college group asked me if it tingled down below when I looked at him, and I was like, ''yeh.'' And she said, ''mine does too when I'm with my boyfriend. That's love!''

So I think it's quite normal for teenagers to bring up rude remarks like that. But I wouldn't bring it up in front of no-one unless they did. I'm the type of person who doesn't get that offended by rude stuff. You should see the dirty jokes my new boyfriend sends to me over text! You would never believe it!

me, i feel a tightness in my stomach and a warmth "down there." Its called sexual arousal and everyone experiences it differently. Sometimes it will hurt. when it becomes unbearable, run in place or go to the bathroom and splash your face with cool water. if someone asks, just say you have a headache and the running really helps it.

In other words: horniness.
I find it to be quite a frustrating feeling at times even if it starts as a pleasant one.

In the book On Beauty by Zadie Smith (one of my obsessions) she actually put it bluntly that the character Zora ( a college student) felt a tingling in her groin area when she saw this boy she liked and I was reading this on the train and had to try hard to stop laughing cause it was so ridiculously blunt. The whole book is hilarious.

There's nothing 'dirty' in a bad way about that, although, I do find it frustrating at times.

Its normal. When you are aroused blood rushes to different parts of your body, its part of the bodies way of getting ready for sex.

Yup! It's normal. If it really won't go away try thinking hard about something gross (crap, vomit etc).

Why is this 16+? I'm 12 and I feel that way when I see a guy I like. My mom doesn't tell me anything when I ask her because she thinks it's inappropriate for a girl my age to know this stuff and also, when I got my period my mom grounded me for a month. How is it my fault that I am growing up? But anyways, thanks for answering!

Of course it's normal. It's called a lady boner. Lol. Women acutally do get boners though, they just aren't noticeable. I don't want to go into detail as of why unless someone here really wants to know.

You betcha! Happens to me all the time. And the more attractive you find that person, the tinglier you're going to be. And if you think you're tingly now, wait until one of these guys stands near you or touches you. And then when you finally get to the kissing and sexual contact part...WOOHOO!! !!

It's TOTALLY normal (although people who believe sexual expression is sinful will try to tell you otherwise), and happens to everybody.

Hi :D

I've also been experiencing a similar tingling feeling but not in the private parts.....rather in my stomach and chest and up and down my arms. This only happens when I'm near this specific guy and it's being happening since the time I met him. I'm always around other people including my ex but only when this guy is next to me do I experience this weird feeling.

Problem is that he admitted to me last week that he's in love with me although I don't feel the same way much. He wants to be my friend-with-benifts.

Is this my soul mate or am I just another crazy person???HELP! :|
