Hi, I am a 26-year old aspie (who looks and feels like a 18-year old) patient here in Calif. I was dignosed 10 years ago after dealing with social and emotional frustration that I have had for so long since pre-adolescence. Now I am able to express myself better and communicate better but then that goes along with maturity. But currently I have not been able to intitiate communications well and really fit in. I always feel when I try, I end up weening away from the others, it gets frustrating.
Anybody here ever get frustrated when you can't socialize properly but feel like you can in your mind?
But hey at least I can be online and try things out in this way.
Thanks all and hello to all. |

Well, I like to wander around on my own so much since I was young, so I feel that having company can interrupt my flow of imagination, I still have a strong one even at this age. Walking fast, galloping around the streets or parks is my way to keep things fresh.
I still manage to slow down so others can catch up or I will eventually walk back to them, so therefore I don't become too separated. |
