To anyone who didn't have a chance to read the prethread - this is for any musicians of any style who have recorded at least one or two things which they're proud of and who would like to share their works. Permanent links would be preferred and with respect to mp3 grade I guess I'd just say anything above 128 kbps will work. My reason for starting this thread is that being passionate about music and knowing that there are a lot of other aspies out there doing some really incredible things I think it would be a really good idea for us to come out and share what we have . Music is also an intimate piece of yourself as well and its sharing a feeling, a mood, a world-view almost more accurately at times than words themselves can adequately express. Regardless I know we have a lot of talent in here and with any luck this thread will take off in a way that we can actually get to see that talent.

As mentioned in the pre-thread, here's the link to my mp3.com site

http://www.mp3.com/5pryme

I'll go into a little bit of detail here. There are 5 tracks: Compressed Reality, Watchman, Transcendentalist Funk, Solar Flare, and The White Rabbit. Compressed Reality and Watchman are both sort of raggae dub influenced at least in terms of their vibe and motion, Compressed is a bit more uptempo and Watchman is a bit more paced back but resonates with that bit of paranoia. Transcendentalist Funk is just a really mellow and chillin jazz-influenced track with of course some oldskool sickbass licks. Solar Flare is a bit more of the crowd pleaser in terms of being
a bit of a hardhitter for the dancefloor, tried my hand at some new automation tricks as well there Smile. The White Rabbit is the main reason I posted my stuff to mp3.com finally, even if it's not 100% completed - its straight up berserk and as you can guess its not exactly about cute little forest bunnies.

Like I mention in my profile though these still need to be EQ'd and mastered on better speakers than what I have and I think also I need to change up a few things in terms of fine tuning percussion (like right now I'm kinda noticing with at least a few of my tracks that they need more in terms of beat variation, tricks, and stunts - I'll work on that before I have em mastered). Anyway, that's about the extent of it. Have a listen if you like.

(Oh and remember - I may not be fishing for compliments but I AM fishing for more artists so step up to tha plate people Wink )

mmm I'm gonna go check them out..

I just uploaded 4 tracks..

(techstep you've heard 3 of them)

http://www.myspace.com/philiparbon

Best played loud!

Brief track info:

The Overcoming: Upbeat, driving sorta style, with an ethereal quality.

Smoke: Slower, chunky snare-driven groove, robotic voice and over-mixed synths... (my personal fav). I guess the genre for this one would be electronica.

Four: Atmospheric track, driven by guitar I recorded, some light keys added.

Jazzcat: Crazy chopped up style beats, but in an ambient sort of flow. Jazz-like quality.

Scin, definitely like em all and I think Four is probably my favorite. They've all got good percussive tricks in em. For your listening pleasure though I'd really have to recommend Plastikman if you haven't heard of him, particularly his Artifakts cd - think you'd be able to draw a lot of energy off of that kind of thing Smile.

Ok, something I just thought I'd mention. I did a remix of one of Lemon's tracks, I'm hoping you guys one of these days get to hear some her stuff but that's kinda on her and as of right now she's still pretty busy with a lot of things and I think means to further work on some of her stuff before she posts it. Anyway though, its at the top of my page - Sarah Z'Amore - Ares (5PRYME remix).

I'm using Fruity Loops now, and at one point might submit you a track I create.

At the moment, I've done 4 tracks and am working on a 5th.

I'm hoping to create either a 12 or 14 track album.

Thing is, which website specialises in uploading music?

One of hobbies is remixing music on my PC. You can listen to/download my mixes at: www.putfile.com/djerik7/media.

Playlists can be viewed HERE.

======================================================================================

Note to MODs: NONE of my mixes contain "explicit lyrics" ... if you feel this post is inappropriate for this site, you may 'delete' it!

I've now created a Putfile account and am uploading my music there.

The tracks are untitled and are just listed as "Track 01", "Track 02" etc. etc.

I might rename them at some point and give a link to my account....at some point.

Here's one. It's instrumental rock music. I'm a guitar player by nature, and on this I also do bass and all the recording/production. A friend does drums. There's more, but for most of them we're still working on vocals or building up the tracks.
