Two years in the dating scene?
Hollywood - probably at least two whirlwind marriages, sex scandals with co-stars or waitresses, and divorces.
NT - probably lots of dates, if you're lucky, an engagement and wedding and maybe a baby on the way.
Aspie - several months totally oblivious to one another's existence, then an awkward conversation, then several weeks while he waits for her to ring and she waits for him to ring, then maybe bumping into one another again and agreeing to go for a coffee, and then hopefully they discover a mutual shared interest in Dragon Age and RPGs or Anime/Manga and all things quirky and Japanese and they live not so much happily, but in a state of mutual bewilderment and misinterpretation ever after. |

You could put a comment about dodgy users in the comments section at the bottom of their page, the Nigerian you mention is clearly trying to scam people
Ask Alex to look into each of the points mentioned, they are very valid. - Given that this forum seems to run better than AA from your description it is likely that AA could be improved.

I keep trying to validate my account on the site, I've signed up three times (having to create a new email address for one of them) hoping i would get the confirmation email so i could sign up, but i'm not getting anything, also i don't know how to add a profile picture and i'd like to.
I'm also not sure how to actually send messages to the other members (or if i have to wait till my account is validated for that) |

I wouldn't even bother with it if I where you. Try PleantyOfFish or OkCupid, at least those websites function properly (most of the time).

Admittably, Aspies really do need a website solely for Aspie to Aspie dating.
I'm very glad that Aspie Affection exists, and I'm happy it's still up and running. Unfortunately, the problem is that it's not as good of quality as it should be.
The profile search engine is bugged, as sometimes the pages get corrupt and you're left with broken HTML codes and a white screen with unsorted sentences. Not only that, but the almost-blank page is huge, the scroll bar looks extremely small.
I detest the pink+red+white background, it's not that eye-pleasing. (Which is an extremely important factor for obtaining traffic)
And shouldn't the Home, Sign Out, and "My Profile" sections, be in a banner at the top of the page? It'd be more conveniant.
If a lot of the problems with this website were fixed, there would be a lot more traffic.
The reason people are complaining about the uneven gender profiles, is because people don't want to join a website that looks frustrating, and so not many traffic is there.
Aspie Affection is a brillaint idea, and a necessary thing. But, the idea needs to be put to good use.
Aspie love is just as important as Aspies socializing, so I think that it should be brought equal attention, and that site should be better.
But I disagree with the others, it shouldn't be taken down.
Edit: Also, it could really use an Instant Messaging App.

List of bugs and gripes I still have:
*Signs you out too quickly when writing messages, no set time it seems.
*Profile search is bugged. Certain search filters don't work at all and others end up in broken pages. Some searches only allow 1 page maximum before breaking.
*Location search method could be greatly improved and integrated into main search criteria.
*Considering site is now free and doesn't even seem to be moderated, no need to be filtering URL's or email addresses.
*If someone cancels their account, and wishes to open it again they are basic and cannot go to gold at all, meaning they can't even read messages they are sent.
*Thumbnails of images do not replace main image when clicked, instead taking you to a separate gallery of images. When you hit back button to view the profile again you are giving users excess click traffic from individuals. For aspies this might freak out the profile owner as they think someone viewed them a LOT (like a stalker!) when really it's cos they have to keep clicking back button to go back to profile after looking at 1 picture.
*Interface and color scheme...has been mentioned by other posters.
