(I've always thought that Kathy Bates' character in Misery has Aspergers....the whole bit about the Saturday morning cartoon serials I COULD JUST TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!! And then there's the way she "did" things for show/to "be" the way other people are...am I making any sense here?)

(I dont remember Misery that well. I watched it like 20 years ago, and I had no idea what Asperger's was back then. But I do remember some scenes, and she was creppy) |

Well, I only Google as last resource when I do not know the name of the actor (do not want to wait until someone that knows because there is not a lot of people playing by now). But I have used it just 2 or 3 times. It is incredible the amount of crap related to movies I have in my head.
For a little time I got obsessed with watching movies related to Asperger's. I found a couple: Adam, Mozart & the Whale, My name is Khan, Ben X. But then I noticed they are not very useful, so I stopped. Yesterday night I watched "All about Steve" and "Pi". The lead character of "Pi" is not precisely Aspie, but he is a savant with huge issues. Pretty interesting movie. |

I imagined this one was going to cause trouble... The name of the movie is "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar". John Leguizamo, Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze are three drag queens that get lost in a little rural town. Its a little movie, but it has its charm, and it's a funny thing to see those three strong, manly man performing as drag queens. |
