what do you all think about this? I find it interesting, although a tad farfetched. I am personally not offended, but I can see how some people would be.

By the way I find the face at the start of the article to be scary. The eyes are very disconcerting. Although this states that many aspies would find it to be attractive.

I think anyone would be disconcerted by that face, she looks like a zombie from bad horror movies.

Michael Crichton's Novel "Next"; he gives evidence that Neanderthals had blond hair, and that they were intelligent beings. He also gives evidence that Brown-haired people are less intelligent.

What if you are still intelligent if you had blond hair at one time?

I had blond hair when I was a baby, but when I matured: I turned brown.

Maybe Michael Crichton is right!

That is what Crichton states in one of his monograms i.e. news articles.

Why wont certain people post? I just posted this as it is a perspective that I have not seen before... I did not intend to "stir the pot", I simply wanted to guage how people felt about this. I would prefer those who are offended to say so rather than be silent on the subject.

It IS an interesting theory. It would explain certain differences, and the idea of extinction, etc... I doubt whites came from blacks or vice/versa. Just the diversity of caucasions and similarities of blacks make THAT clear.

As for the dumb blond jokes? MOST dumb blonds are probably not REALLY blond. There IS a special charm there sometimes, so some prefer it, and that isn't exactly a secret, so blond hair coloring is probably VERY popular. Also, predominantly blond cultures HAVE done pretty well for themselves. I doubt you could make any serious claim that they were dumb.

It PROBABLY started because some women think all men are stupid, and want stupid blond women.

As for MY hair color. I don't think I ever had blond hair, but it was lighter when I was young.

Well that was interesting.
I know some of it is far-fetched, but those questions somewhere near the middle were interesting. One was, "Can you whistle?"

Seriously? I can't whistle. Never have been able to. Is that seriously an AP trait? Interesting.

Even if the author is totally serious, they need to organize their whole thing a little better. It doesn't flow.

Are there blacks, orientals, indians with Aspies, given there were no known neanderthals

Actually, they would have to have done such studies LONG ago for it to be a valid test. Nobody is likely to be pure anything anymore.

Actually, this is quite unlikely. Neanderthals had red hair, not blond. Blond is the admixture of Hs and Hn haircolors where none of the pigments are present.

It is also red hair color and not blond that is overrepresented in the autistic population.

What about them?

Racial prevalence of ASD (from Aspie-quiz version 6 and 7):
www.rdos.net/eng/aspeval/race6.htm
www.rdos.net/eng/aspeval/race7.htm

The racial prevalence of ASDs in Afroamericans is about 1/6 of
the Caucasian prevalence. The Asian / American Indian prevalence is
about 1/2. The latter is just expected because Neanderthals
range extended into Central Asia.

Actually...comb the hair, trim the eyebrows and take into account that it's modelling plastic and it looks remarkably similar to some kids I know and not what I'd consider out of place at all.
Still slogging through the awfully-laid-out article... get back to you on that

I just want to go on record as saying that I like those Neanderthals on the Geico commercials.

Jolly amusing ....
