I love horses too. I have taken riding classes and in summer often go for trail rides and horse camps. what is your favorite thing to do with horses? I like talking to horses and riding. my favorite gait is trotting as it feels like I am flying and anything faster I am not ready for yet.

I started taking riding lessons this summer. The horse was named
Boo Boo. He was old and lazy. He was very stubborn. I never got past learning to trot, but once he cantered on me. I had gotten bee boots, and I wasn't used to the amount of force they put off. When I kicked him yo trot, he cantered. It surprised me, but I got him to stop. I pulled myself together. And kept riding.

Once the same thing happened to me. Except I fell off. I find it very admirable that you did that as I was very panicked and did not think. The my favorite horse is a strawberry-roan mare named Ruby. Ruby has a very pretty long mane and high up tail. I like her because of her sweet and calm temperment and smooth gait. Another horse like her was a bay mare named Twi. Twi was taller than Ruby and also had a long mane and maybe a high up tail. Twi was very smooth as well. People accounted that to the horses being part Arabian and the high tails too.

There were 4 horses at the stables I went to. Two of them were duns, Boo-Boo and Nicki. I could tell them apart, because Boo-Boo had stalkings on his one side, but Nicki did not. There was a darker mare that had slightly curly hair when she sweat, Her name was Kaytee. She was the oldest horse there at about thirty some years. The fourth horse was had a lighter coat. Her name was Ginger. I enjoyed watching the horses when I wasn't riding them.

Once when I was walking to the barn, Nicki started galloping or cantering around and when right in front of us. That was wierd.

Horses are beautiful! Have you noticed any personality traits the horses have? What are they and what horse do you like to ride best?

I only got to ride Boo-Boo. He was quite funny sometimes. Once Ginger got used to me being there, she kept following me and Boo-Boo close behind. Ginger seemed to be very social and loved attention. Nicky also wanted attention a lot, but he mainly wanted groomed. When I got there early he would go over to the fence like he wanted attention, but whenever I moved my hand toward him he would move his head away. He was one of the younger horses, so he had a lot of energy, and I'm wondering if he's related to Boo-Boo. My trainers brother said that Nicky looked like Boo-Boo in the face. Kaytee was much quieter and stayed away from all of the ruckus.

BooBoo was always either lazy or perky. Usually he was lazy. He liked to eat a lot. He was actually quite like my dog. Further proof Maisie isn't 100% dog. I didn't get to spend time with the horses; it was only at the lessons.(once a week) Since it's winter now I don't get to go. I guess I'm just good with understanding animals. My great uncle in Kentucky has horses, though, but I'he only visited him once.

Interesting. Sometimes my siblings joke that my dog is a moth because she likes fire. When we start a camp fire she tries to go in! Then again she might just want to eat the failed marshmallows. I remember mostly having riding lessons at camp in summer but I have some memory of a winter or spring camp. I am still trying to figure out (well not really but I still want to know) why the pig that they used to have is missing. The teacher said something like that the pig was bad. They may have sold it. But it is a secret so I won't ever know.

What is it like to ride outside? I have only done so on trail rides.

My girlfriend at the time had a Horseland account.
I created an account to play along with her.

Best Regards,

Jake
