This year, so far, I have tix to the Kings in NJ, Philly, PHX, and two games in Colorado.
Last year I saw em in Calgary, Van, Det, Columbus, Colorado, San Jose, Ananheim, and Phx.

PS. I was pretty happy to see your Bruins beat Vancouver. And to see that they are going to add Marc Savard's name to the Cup, He is one of the good guys that makes Hockey so much fun.

Hey, that's awesome goal. I've been to several different arenas for NHL games but all on the east coast. Not always the Bruins playing, but let's see, I've been to Washington, Montreal, New Jersey, both New York arenas and, of course, Boston many times. I don't think I could stomach going to a game in Philly. Where's the puking icon, anyway? Laughing

Also happy to see Savard's name going on the Cup. He's a fun player to watch and was definitely part of the fabric of last year's team even if not on the ice for most of the season.

Two weeks from today, we'll be at the Avs-Bruins game. Got the exact same seats as we had for Game 4 of the Cup Finals. Can't wait. Very Happy

I couldn't stand to be around Philly fans in general. Take a look at any sport in Philadelphia, and their fans are usually the worst in behaviour. * 2nd is Oakland Raiders *

About the scariest experience I've ever had at a sporting event was going to an Eagles-Cowboys Monday Night Football game in Philly many years ago while my brother was dressed in full Dallas Cowboys colors. We were both adults and my brother can be kind of loud. Lucky we escaped with our lives. Shocked

Great, thanks guys. Smile

I've been to plenty of games in enemy territory, but this Philly game is the first one that I was a bit nervous about. Y'all aint helpin much...

The Kings aquired Philly's captian Mike Richards this summer, and Simone Gagne who had his car keyed when playing against Philly after being traded from the team. So, I'm sure the fans will already be stirred up.
My all time fav player is Ian Laperriere and the Philly fans loved him. So I'm hoping that wearing a Lappy jersey might help earn me a little bit of good will.
That game is Oct. 15th, so check the headlines on the 16th to see if that plan didn't work out.

I didn't mean to scare you about that, it's just Philly fans have that kind of reputation for a reason. The Laperriere jersey might work.

Speaking of Philly, I have a big decision to make. We are going to go to a second Bruins home game this year and I can't decide who to see. On January 21, the Rangers play at Boston at 1 PM; on St. Patrick's Day, the Flyers play at Boston at 1 PM. I'm off both days and am in a quandry about which game to see. Two great Eastern rivals. The Flyers are a better team these days so there might be more excitement, but my neighbor is a Rangers fan and would probably join us. Should I go for the better hockey match-up or try to be social?

Thoughts, comments appreciated. Smile

I would go with a friend to the Rangers game, and try to be more social. You two could share the experience, at least that's what I would do.

I am ready for this season to start. I have tix for the first game of the season here in Phoenix. I just hope that by the end of the season there is ownership for the Coyotes. It sucks being a fan of hockey here as there are so few fans.

I can understand, I just hope Dallas can get a better ownership by the end of the season.

I am deciding whether I want to purchase the center ice package. I would purchase it right away but I hate the fact that most of games are not in hd. Being a long time Leafs fan I think I will bite the bullet as I love to watch any game. I just wish the quality could be better.

Thanks Brainfre3ze_93. It looks like we're leaning towards the Rangers game at this point. Asked my neighbor but he has to make sure it's in his budget first.

Center Ice is well worth the money. We've gotten it several years running. You're right that it would be nice if more of the games were in HD but there's at least one HD game pretty much every night. Great to flip from game to game and never have to watch an intermission. Smile

Not a problem! Cool
