My problem is that you can hardly even see green anywhere on the home jerseys. _________________ " Tetris: The game that teaches you that mistakes pile up, and achievements disappear. " |

I guess I can't complain too much. I am probably getting a Coyotes jersey this year and it is a huge improvement over there old jersey. The coyotes used to have the ugliest jerseys.
I just saw the coyotes are playing the stars play Monday night. |

Hockey jerseys are the best, but getting them personalized is always a big risk. I have generic Bruins (white) and Sharks (black) jerseys as well as a personalized Jonathan Cheechoo Sharks jersey. I hate that Cheech isn't on the Sharks anymore so the jersey is more or less retired. Been wanting to get a personalized Bruins jersey for awhile but wanted a "forever" kind of jersey ... one that would still be meaningful in 20 or 30 years. Like Bourque or Orr or Neeley. So after they won the Cup, I asked for a Patrice Bergeron jersey for Christmas, complete with the "A" and the 2011 Finals logo. Totally psyched ... Bergeron has been my favorite Bruin for awhile and after he scored two goals in Game 7, he was elevated to legend status. |

| I always try to get my jersey personalized with a player who is of legend status. I will never get one of a player who hasn't earned it over many seasons. If I get a coyotes jersey it will be a Shane Doan jersey. |

I've a generic Stars jersey as well. The last time when I wanted a jersey was of Marty Turco, but he ended up in Chicago before I could get one. * speaking of Chicago, Dallas beat them in 2:1 game. * I love it when the Stars get off to a good note. _________________ " Tetris: The game that teaches you that mistakes pile up, and achievements disappear. Fun weekend of hockey so far. My Leafs managed to hold on to the lead against the Senators for a 6-5 win. I can't believe they almost blew that game.
The coyotes sucked last night. The only player who looked decent was Doan. I hope they improve but there goaltending looked bad.
Right now I am sitting back watching the return of the Winnipeg Jets. It is great to see them back. |

Avalanche at Bruins at 1 PM tomorrow and I'll be there with my stepson and next door neighbor.
Looking forward to seeing the banner in the rafters and hopefully some great hockey as well. Excellent ceremony the other night by the way ... very cool to see the '72 Bruins on the ice to pass the torch to the '11 championship team. |

Well, Dallas blew it against Chicago. 2:5 Penalties really hurt us in those two games, and I hope we can get that fixed before we play the Coyotes. _________________ " Tetris: The game that teaches you that mistakes pile up, and achievements disappear. " |

Back home from the game and watching the replay. Good defensive game and nice goaltending by Rask but the Avalanche squeaked out a 1-0 victory against the defending champs. Our neighbor was happy since he's an Avs fan ... he had lots of fun taunting us the whole ride home. Great day. |

| Wow Coyotes blew the lead with 30 seconds left. Good game though. I thought both goalies played outstanding. Phoenix was improved after there game against San Jose. |

I know, without Kari Lethonen as our goalie Dallas would be terrible. * Thank You Finland! * _________________ " Tetris: The game that teaches you that mistakes pile up, and achievements disappear. " |

I'm sorry for the double post, but I've to get this off my chest. I was embarassed to see so many empty seats in the game against Phoenix.
I can sort of understand with the Rangers in the baseball playoffs, but there were so many empty seats that I saw on the television. It made me wonder, when or if attendance will pick up? _________________ " Tetris: The game that teaches you that mistakes pile up, and achievements disappear. " |

| It's early in the season. I wouldn't worry much about empty seats. I actually saw some empty seats in Boston for the first time ever at the Avs game I went to this week. Granted, it was a daytime game on a weekday in October and some of the empties were almost certainly season-ticket holders, but they're the defending champs so it raised my eyebrows a little. Anyway, I suspect the Stars attendance will pick up after the baseball playoffs are over and the weather turns colder. |

| I noticed the empty seats as well. I figured it was the perfect storm of baseball playoffs and early season game. It still stinks though. I have been to Coyotes games where it feels like no one is in the entire arena. |
