I suppose all superheroes feel the same social separation we all do, especially if they have to hide behind secret identities.
One superhero though, who may (in my opinion, at least) display all the symptoms of AS is Batman, at least Batman as portrayed by Michael Keaton in the Tim Burton classic. Consider: as Bruce Wayne he throws parties but doesn't really mix with the guests, and has no idea of the value of the money or attention he gives to them, and he has extreme trouble even talking to a woman he that wants to like him. He is very good with machines and gadgets, and with abstract thinking.
Also, as Batman, he has:
Limited interests or preoccupation with a subject to the exclusion of other activities;
Repetitive behaviors or rituals;
Peculiarities in speech and language;
Extensive logical/technical patterns of thought;
Socially and emotionally inappropriate behavior and interpersonal interaction.
(The last bit was copied per se from a description of AS on Wikipedia.) _________________ "Ginger....I always wanted to be ginger."

Perhaps that is why Batman has always been my most favorite comic book superhero. _________________ Superman wears Jack Bauer pajamas. |

| I believe Batman's perceived Aspie traits are more a consequence of his outer experiences. The experience of seeing his parents shot in front of him as a child caused him to become more introverted. |

he drove all the robins away <well, okay, tim still almost likes him, but jason is bonkers and dick is in bludhaven> batgirl is oracle now, bit more than arms length away, only person who he hasn't totally melted down on is alfred
losing your parents does not make you put on a cape and cowl and start jumping from building to building, no matter what the circumstances, there HAD to be additional circumstances, the death of his parents was just the cataclysm that allowed his differences to manifest
if Bruce Wayne were AS he wouldn't just be AS, there are some screws loose up there _________________ In brightest day, in blackest night,

Bats isn't an Aspie.
if he were, you think he'd be fighting crime?
nah.
he's just a genious type guy with a love of society and protecting it.
if you were trying to aspize every hero, you'd have to be looking at a quarter of the mutant population from X-men. namely and beginning with Rogue. _________________ I want peace for all. Simple yet elegant. |

I always felt I could relate to batman and spider-man. I want to live in a bat cave. _________________ Currently Reading: Survival by Juliet E. Czerneda

I don't think Batman has AS. For one thing he does the secret-identity thing perfectly, both Bruce Wayne and Batman.
Clark Kent as played by Christopher Reeve (RIP) acts like some AS people but Superman's putting that on. |

Batman as portrayed by Adam West may have been an Aspie. Stilted, awkward mannerisms, a singular obsession (fighting crime)...

I think that the Hulk is an aspie. think about it:
Limited language capabilities
He wants to be left alone
People don't understand him
he likes to take things apart while bruce likes to put them together
He calls people "punny humans"
He's frustrated by people and he's green |

Batman/Bruce Wayne can't be an Aspie.
How can Bruce be a rich playboy and have Aspergers? |

he got the money from daddy...and when you have money, you can have any female you want. you're considered eccentric at that point...not weird. |
