I was going to suggest ‚From Another Planet‘ as the name of the conference and it would have the abbreviation FAP.

Sort of like a interstellar tourism festival, for nts. We could do some positive presentations to introduce them to Asperger's. Special interest workshops, family and siblings, spouses, teachers, anyone involved! Nothing too academic like the dsm. Instead, let us do the presentations ourselves.

True, Santa Monica may be better than Hollywood.
Both of them are better than Las Vegas, because LA is more accessible than LV.
LA has a larger concentration of newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, which can cover our event.

I think this is is a great idea, and sounds like something I would love to attend, but I'm a bit iffy on flying. If it goes well, would you consider making it a yearly event, and having it in a different city each time?
