If he truly has a disability and decent representation he will probably get some lesser charge.

Exactly. Bloody hypocrites. They're trying to make the bullying seem so much better in their own mind so they pass it on.

Dear Fraac, Gedrene, angelryan, and Jojobean, I agree with all of you regarding the contempt on this forum being directed against a person who obviously needs professional help. At this point it appears that his parents are not able to help him or even control him; he will continue confrontational behavior until he pulls one of his stunts on the wrong person. He's going to be hurt or killed one of these days unless he can be taught limits, acceptable behavior, impulse control, etc. If he gets the right judge, he may be fortuneate enough to be evaluated and put into a mandatory program. For his sake, I hope so. Personally I think the whole family needs to look at themselves; they have allowed him to go far too long without controls....Sylkat

His father is dead. The parents have tried their best yet the simplicity and approachability, the innate unprogammed state of chris meant that his parents couldn't deal with it. I think the death of the father got to them.

Yeah pretty much, I can't even believe he hasn't been committed to a psychiatric hospital. If they just send him to jail that'd be pretty sad. Looking at the type of person he is and his difficulty to change I'd even consider him a possible suicide risk. I get why people bully him, they think they're helping but they aren't. He does need to fail enough to want to change but the law is going to have to do the responsible thing and get him help. It's all going to come down to how society treats him. I don't even have faith in society myself let alone for someone like him. He could be screwed. This could become an ethical issue if he gets sent to jail. Or fined with no way to pay let alone look after himself. I just hope in the end he gets something positive out of it, and not something that would mess him up further.

So, again does someone know who this is--provide a link or something. I feel like I'm outside of an inside joke.

That guy needs psychiatric help, a legal name change, and probably should not be allowed on the internet; though people are obviously mean to him, he really dug himself in deeper in many respects. I think prison for him would be a very horrible, inhumane decision and I am somewhat expecting him to be put into a psychiatric hospital instead. Possibly followed by house arrest

He doesn't understand the problem with the charges so he needs to be committed if convicted. He's not safe to be put in general population in his mental state anyway.

Which is what I've basically been saying for quite a while. The guy's a danger to himself mainly.

Dear Tequila, Agreed; in America, involuntary commitment is legally warranted when an individual is judged to be "a danger to himself or others". In this case, it's a miracle he has not been badly beaten at the very least...his behavior is so antagonistic and out of control. sylkat

In the United Kingdom, the process known in the United States as involuntary commitment is informally known as "sectioning," after the various sections of the Mental Health Act 1983 (covering England and Wales), the Mental Health (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 and the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 that provide its legal basis.

When an NT acts like a crazy racist redneck it's just a standard everyday occurrence and nobody cares but when an aspie does it he ends up the most universally scorned human being on the planet. That's humanity for you.

Chris Chan and his mother had some kind of an altercation with the manager of the Game Place (Michael Snyder). This is not a true mugshot.

Sadly, this is human nature, irregardless of an ASD or not.

From what I can figure out, it appears that his dad had an undiagnosed ASD himself. Granted yes, his behavior brings all the sh*t down on himself, and he's been a troll magnet for years, and perhaps will continue to be. -- So FWIW, apparently the best efforts of the parents wasn't good enough to get him to change his behavior.

A quick and simple solution to the problem with his being trolled via internet would be to simply kill his connection to the internet, and keep him away from any any computers that offer online access.
