I enjoyed that too. I actually heard about it on WP. There is another by the same people called Harvie Krumpet that is about Tourettes. It's next on my Netflix queue actually.

Last movie was a week ago with my daughter, she's really into arnie films at the moment so we watched commando.

I've been watching a short series called Kurohyô: Ryu ga gotoku shinshô, watching 4 at a time so it was more like watching a movie. I liked the fact there was no happy ending, everyone suffered some kind of misery, the fighting was good and the subtitles at times were hilarious.

I just got back from watching the New Year's Eve movie.

I liked it. About 10 times better than the Valentine's Day movie.

We just watched Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil on DVD. We were laughing so hard over the gory, blood soaked humor that we were close to rolling on the floor!

My Dog Tulip
A charming animated film about an old man and his dog. Based on a book by J. R. Ackerly. I loved the animation, which was often very Thurber/Steig-ish.

Last Sunday, I saw a matinee of Martha, Marcy May, Marlene.

Yesterday, I saw a matinee of The Sitter at my neighborhood movie theater.
I loved it & laughed my ass off.

OMG love that one!!!!

The new Twilight Saga film

*spoiler alert* the baby kills her and Edward's venom revives her.. and that is, unfortunately, only the mid point of the book.

*runs out of the room screaming hysterically and ripping out hair in chunks like Homer every time he found out Marge was pregnant*

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

I thought it was excellent. The pacing seemed a bit tighter than the first movie, if that makes sense. The action was definitely bumped up at least a few notches. I particularly liked the slo-mo action sequences. On more than one occasion I found myself literally on the edge of my seat, which doesn't happen very often at the movies. I also liked the storyline. IMO, if you enjoyed the first movie, you'll probably enjoy the second one.

Dark Days a classic documentary about the homeless of NYC.
