I doubt anything will come of this, but what the hell.
I'm a 16-year-old girl from New Jersey and a diagnosed aspie. I'm a little shy at first, but once I get over it, I'm a very passionate, creative person with a lot to say. I'm kind of a geek and a huge fan of anime/manga, video games, Harry Potter, and Doctor Who. I'm an artist, a reader, a writer and an aspiring architect. Physically, I'm 5'2'' half-asian, half-white with short, dark hair and brown eyes.
I'm hoping to find a lovely guy or girl (I'm bisexual! Ladies, don't be shy!) who is smart, compassionate, and ready to go on amazing adventures together. (Or just talk. That's okay too.) My ideal match enjoys intellectually-stimulating conversation, watching good movies, and is accepting and open-minded. PM me if you're interested.

... it just occurred to me I'm trying to use phones to get rid of phones. PARADOX!
Not to mention that without Telephones there would be no Internet, without the Internet there would be no WP, and without WP you guys wouldnt have come UP with this screwy shennanigan in the first place ...

Hi I'm Sarah and I'm 32. I live in north derbyshire, England. I'm not comfortable putting lots of info on here to be honest but I play games, currently skyrim and I like formula 1. I was diagnosed in 2010 after 18 years of being mis-diagnosed. I was very medicated but I'm nearly off them all now and find I'm lonely. In future getting an education that I missed out on and trying to find work are a priority. I am interested in biology and chemistry but need to start by getting computer skills up to scratch.
I'm looking for a guy who can accept I'm weird but I'm ok if he is too. I'd prefer between 25-40 but it's not a fixed rule. I can't tolerate racism or homophobia. I'm 161cm and slightly overweight. I was a lot bigger but I'm losing it so I'm no good if you want a perfect figure but my last boyfriend was fine so I can't be hideous. I have blue eyes. I can be like a big child but I can be serious too. I love Star Trek, Alias, Arrested Development and of course Firefly. I enjoy reading too, I like science and oddly war. Tend to read factual books but can and do read some fiction. Last thing is I like sex and being touched and I don't want a smoker, it's not personal I can't stand the smell. I'm not wanting to put a photo up here but if you want one contact me directly. I don't need exactly matching interests, I'm growing as a person and mine change. However science is constant.

Hi all,
Although I've been registered on here for ages I don't think I've ever posted. I tried aspie affection but think my profile was only viewed twice lol.
I'm 34 although feel about 19. I'm undiagnosed but have always felt weird and different from everyone else. I've always thought I should date a nt guy to balance out my strangeness, but now I think maybe it would be best to try and find someone who can maybe be more strange than me and hopefully understand me and not make me feel like i'm forever bad and abnormal.
I live in Surrey, UK with my two cats and am looking for a nice guy who is kind and likes cats (I'm not a mad cat person, they are just great company and have wonderful personalities).
I don't want to put too much info on here for fear of writing too much (something I am guilty of).

Well, after reading that WP article in the Times, I find myself once again wondering what it would be like to date another aspie. So, I figure I'll throw one of these up and maybe say a few hellos. (If I pm you and you're not interested, just delete it. I promise I will not bother you again.) Anyway, here goes...
I'm 27. 5'10, 140. From the NYC area. Dx'd Aspergers and ADHD. Teaching student / student teacher. Ninja on weekends. Love music (progressive and classic rock), technology, video games, movies, cooking, football, and kids. Hate mosquitoes, whole wheat noodles, martian zombie spider nazis, and Justin Bieber. I am faithfully agnostic, politically political, and bent on world domination by means of mass confusion. First of all I should introduce myself..My name is Alex,I am 32 from New York City. I am an immigrant ,fluently speak 3 languages,and I live in US for 10 years.Couple of days ago,almost by mistake, the NYT newspaper headline caught my eye,and since I started reading I understood there are many things Kirsten describes herself,that seems like she describing me.There are SO many years that I ask the same questions about myself-how come the person like me-handsome,healthy,talented always have a problem to get along with people.I hate complaining and wining,but I guess here might be one of the few paces the people know what I am talking about:WALL OF MISUNDERSTANDING.Just like Kirsten I believed that the reason is me,and I should work on my personalty.That's why I developed he same responce as Kirsten-I always try to please everybody,and that comes right down on me.As a result-I am person who doesn't open up to too many people ,especially after I devorced 5 years ago .I tried to develop the relationship with different girls from a different backgrounds-girls,who most of them immigrated from my country,as well as the others.One of them used to be a model..So I helped her to start the modeling career here using my knowledge,and connections.Couple of weeks later I discovered she already hangs out with another guy,and she only used me.Since then (and not only since then) my presumption about the girls is- hitchhikers.As soon as "my car " turn the different direction other of what she needs-she will leave you.My only salvation is my son,who I visit on regular basis,and we have wonderful relationship.So,that's basicly it..What do I expect to find here?Good question..If there is a girl as beautiful and as smart,and as good-heart as Kirsten live nearby-go ahead,contact me. My name is Roy, Im a 28 year old aspie from just outside east london in england. I have been registered here for a while but hardly ever post. Have registered on that broken site aspie affection but the only people that ever seem to look at my profile are men for some reason, lol.
I wasnt diagnosed as having aspergers until i was in my early 20s, I always knew something was different about me though, but put it down to being shy or just not "one of the lads". Ive always been very shy around the opposite sex too, Ive only had one real girlfriend in my life, but we were together for 7 years so its not as bad as it sounds, and at least you know Im loyal .
Im a keen photographer, would have (and still can I suppose) done it professionally, I think my shyness will hinder that dream though but you never know. I taught myself guitar which Im pretty proud of also. Other than that Im just into the usual things, cinema, video games, reading etc. Im not really one for going clubbing, but I do enjoy going to gigs up in the city. The smaller places like Brixton Academy etc, not really into the big arena shows. Good taste in music is pretty much essential for me in a girl, no teeny boppers please.
Basically Im just looking for someone similar to me, a bit shy, maybe a bit rough around the edges, Im not looking for perfection, but someone loyal. Being almost 30 and lonely isnt much fun.
