Autism is discrimination based on car.
On a more serious note, I noticed at my Aspie support group that everyone was born in cold months, and remembered that in another Aspie group 90% were. Looked up statistics online. One site said there is a 91% increase in the chance of autism for those conceived in winter months. Anybody know of this phenomenon?
Two of my siblings, whom I suspect are Aspies but I'm not sure, were born in August, which would have them conceived in mid to late November. I was born in February, conceived in late spring. I have often wondered if stale sperm weren't the culprit. |

Autism is a direct effect of trace amounts of ammonium perchlorate, one of the main ingredients in Space Shuttle fuel. As the Space Shuttle is being discontinued, autism rates in America are likely to fall drastically.
P.S.: I have had 2 autism and Aspergers tests which came back with conflicting results, but have never been diagnosed with Aspergers. Still, I am reasonably certain I have it, more so the longer I read these forums. My birthday is 7 August 1995. |

Autism is created when a sorcerer and a sorceress conceive a child that gains none of the magical genes that would be passed down from the parents. Therefore, the child is abandoned and deposited into the womb of an ordinary woman to live an ordinary life. Unfortunately, the child retains the perception of a magic user and will spend a lifetime trying to rewire their brains and adjusting their lives and senses according to the ways of the non-magic users while unknowingly obsessing over different things that their magical parents obsessed over as well.

The evidencec seem antedoctal at this point but there are other conditions that have that weird bor i winter thing to. Also, a lot of aspies I know are either lefties or amibdexterous
Autism is caused by plastic. Like to see someone try to avoid that!!!

The evidence is anecdotal. I'm trying to collect more anecdotes to motivate a serious study if it warranted. I started a new thread to that end. Go to "Auties and Aspies Birth Month" and add your 2 cents worth, please. |
