Who is your favorite best actor ever? (Which actor do you like, and optional: give 2 or 3 films that actor's been in that made you like him)

My best to worst:

1. Tom Hanks (Cast Away, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan)
2. Matt Damon (Bourne franchise, Good Will Hunting, Contagion)
3. Ryan Reynolds (Buried, Green Lantern)
4. Mark Wahlberg (Max Payne, Departed, Planet of the Apes remake)
5. Christian Bale (The Fighter, Batman (Nolan series), Terminator Salvation)

Who is your worst actor ever? (Which actor did you hate, and give 2 or 3 films that actor's been in that made you hate him)

1. Ben Affleck (Gigli, Armageddon, Daredevil)
2. Shia LaBeouf (Transformers 1, 2, and 3)
3. Robert Pattingson (Twilight franchise)
4. Taylor Launter (Twilight franchise, Abduction)
5. Adam Sandler (Jack & Jill, 50 First Dates)

My favorite actors:

1. Johnny Depp (Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands)
2. Crispin Glover (Alice in Wonderland, Willard, River's Edge)
3. Jim Carrey (Ace Ventura franchise, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Dumb and Dumber)
4. Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Young Frankenstein)
5. Arnold Schwarzenegger (Conan the Barbarian, Junior)

Can't think of any least favorite actors at the moment. Usually when I see one movie with an actor I don't like, I don't give them another chance.

Favorite actors:

1- Sean Connery (The early James Bond films, AKA the only ones worth watching)
2- Marlon Brando (The Godfather, A Streetcar Named Desire)
3- Harrison Ford (The Indiana Jones series, the original Star Wars trilogy)
4- Johnny Depp (The Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Corpse Bride, Once Upon a Time in Mexico)
5- Helena Bonham Carter (The Corpse Bride, the later Harry Potter films)

I don't have any terribly bad actors in mind.

I tend to like actors both on how good they are and how unusual I find them. Unusual people are always the most interesting.

Best:
Ian McKellen
Hugo Weaving
Jack Nicholson
Ron Pearlman
Terry Jones
Graham Chapman
Ah screw it all of the Monty Pythons

Worst:
Tommy Wiseau

Aw, Ian McKellen is great.

Here's a list I made for another forum:
Keanu Reeves
River Phoenix
Cillian Murphy
Leonardo DiCaprio
Kate Winslet
Ewan McGregor
Michael J. Fox
Colin Firth
Dustin Hoffman
Sandra Bullock

I would change some of my choices because for some reason I did not put Emma Thompson in the list. I also like Tom Hanks, depends on the film though. And, um, I would add Sean Penn. And Meryl Streep. I also like Jim Carrey. This list is endless. I can't think of many actors though that I really hate. Mostly, I just do not care about actors who do not interest me.

Carey Mulligan is great, too. Among all the younger actors out there, I think she's the one I like best.

Anthony Hopkins, too.

OK, this will be the last edit of this post. I LOVE Billy Boyd.

OK, Martha Plimpton. She's great.

I'm going to have to make a top 25 list for the good ones (no particular order). To be fair, I'm only including active actors/actresses, and don't confuse these with my personal favorites. These are just the ones I think are the best:
-Meryl Streep
-Daniel Day-Lewis
-Judi Dench
-Robert DeNiro
-Christian Bale
-Robert Downey Jr.
-Emma Stone
-Michelle Williams
-Sigourney Weaver
-Daniel Craig
-Leonardo DiCaprio
-Johnny Depp
-Edward Norton
-Denzel Washington
-Jeff Bridges
-Colin Firth
-Amy Adams
-Gary Oldman
-Morgan Freeman
-Michael Caine
-Kate Winslet
-Anthony Hopkins
-Ian McKellen
-Tom Hanks
-Helen Mirren

And now, for your consideration, the 15 actors/actresses (in no particular order) I'm LEAST impressed with talent-wise:
-Kristen Stewart
-Shia LaBeouf
-Robert Pattinson
-Angelina Jolie
-Milla Jovovich
-Seann William Scott
-Nicolas Cage
-Taylor Lautner
-Katherine Heigl
-Jennifer Aniston
-Katherine Heigl
-Zac Efron
-Ben Stiller
-Tyler Perry
-Dwayne Johnson
