Dose anyone have strange sensations.
seeing the carpet move in waves or float above the ground. colours and shapes floating around. Somtimes I feel like I am floating. Or I feel like the ground is moving in a swaying rocking motion like an earthquake. But it is not. What can cause this?

For me, it's usually low blood sugar. A glass of fruit juice later, and I'm fine. Otherwise, it seems to be my body telling me that it's time to log off and go to bed!

People with a wide variety of medical disorders often exhibit these symptoms. I strongly suggest that you consult an appropriately trained and licensed medical practitioner to determine the cause(s), and refrain from seeking the opinions of untrained amateurs on a social website dedicated to Asperger's Syndrome.

that is not so easy. it is dificult to see a profesional and get listened to. Profesionals ignore me and listen to my carers instead. I thought maybe if I have some information then they will listen. maybe this is a bad place to ask. It is a website for people with autism also.

Is it difficult for you to see a doctor? Does your doctor ignore you? Are your care-givers that reluctant to let you speak up on your own behalf?

yes. I can not just decide to go. I ask and get told if yes or if no. doctors do not listen to me. they just talk to the caregiver about me infront of me.

Not sure if this helps, but Ihad this as a child myself. All sorts of little illusions (not detailed enough to be REAL hallucinations). The carpet waves were an old favorite.
Sometimes I had a fever/was ill. But it wasn't required, it could happen if I just stared at something. Self Hypnosis maybe?

Strobing checks on clothes. Breathing walls. Spinning around and round in bed like the hand on a clock. Everything rotating slightly when walking upright. My head being pulled up towards the sky/ceiling. Noises that sound like voices. People calling my name who aren't there.

Yeah, I hallucinate quite a bit but I don't think I have schizophrenia. Confused

Patterns do odd things like this to me, although I think it was more intense when I was younger.

I don't feel the floating or the earth moving so much, however.

I am not sure what causes this.

I've had both of those.

I have many weird goings-on, mainly when I'm lying down, but not asleep. They range from position vertigo (where I'm spinning, like puddingmouse describes the hand of a clock) to Alice in Wonderland syndrome (where my whole universe feels like it's concentrated on the roof of my mouth, where my tongue touches it) - that one is actuall quite pleasant.

I also get sleep paralysis, which is a whole other thread, consisting of demons, aliens and ghosts and me being pulled through the bed and being screamed at directly into my ear, in a high pitched voice, whilst I can't move or speak.
