Wow I tried to look up movies released in 1983. What a lousy year for cinema. The only two well known films to came out last year are "National Lampoon's Vacation" and "Return of the Jedi".

Three of my very favorite movies came out in my birth year of 1950:

Sunset Boulevard
All About Eve
Born Yesterday
.

Also that year:
King Solomon's Mines
Harvey
.

All said, a very good year.
