at times, i feel on the brink of being someone who NT's say "doesn't have a life".
But ive got it alright, AS and all. Ive got some friends who really care about me, a church community that cares, a job (and i might have a new better one soon), live on my own, etc etc.
The most "nerdy" thing i do is playing WoW. i do it because its fun. (and i havent even been playing but maybe 5 or 6 weeks). for me, a person who plays one online rpg, even dedicated to it, isnt a nerd. nerds are people who play like 5 games uber-seriously and play those stupid magic trading card games and are obsessed star-wars freaks. |

"Having no life" while being alive is an interesting concept.
I decided when I saw the poll that I have a life. I work part time as a Community Support Specialist for two autistic boys, I take karate, I have pets and a boyfriend. I write poetry and paint. (But my addiction to the internet hampers me from painting or writing as much as I'd like. ) I'll probably be going back to school in Clinical Psychology soon. It's a life, even though it isn't as full as some lives. Right now I don't have any friends that live in the same town as me; just my boyfriend. That's been difficult for me. So, I guess I have a life although I lack a social life. |
