| Anyone else like going on there to watch someone play a video game and they upload it. Sometimes I use it as a walk through when I get stuck rather than reading the walk through on Gamespot. |

I love watching speed runs. Seeing someone beat a game that took me months to do as a ten year old in the space of 2 hours brings back memories for me |

I have watched people play a couple horror games that I am unlikely to play because I don't own it, and I tend to have a pretty hard time with horror games. And recently I have been watching a guy doing a lets play of an old N64 game or centemental reasons, and I am familiar of some of an abridged series he did of Phoenix Wright, which is almost watching someone play a game.
Finding a clip of someone playing can also be usefull for doing or finding something hard, or some rather difficult bosses. It is rather interesting seeing how other people play games, sometimes I can be amazed on their efficency, and other times see the lack of it, which makes me feel good, I kind of have an almost obsessive nature of maximising amount of ammunition carried, reloading after every gun fight, and tend to not do things like carrying high powered but few use weapons/attacks. Good to get a new outlook. _________________ Blast Reality! Burst it into shreds! Banishment... this world! |

Used to watch HellfireComms on youtube, but they seem to have been updating less and less over time. NintendoCaprisun is very entertaining, as is TheRunawayGuys. Although they are video game reviewers and don't play through the whole game, both Classic Game Room and the Angry Video Game Nerd are also funny. _________________ About suffering they were never wrong,

I like to do that sometimes. I used to watch my biggest brother play games all day. It's odd when I think about it but I just like it. Watched an entire lets play of Toonstruck once. Youtube it, it's pretty odd stuff. _________________ Please, if you are a female don't PM, IM or contact me in anyway. This isn't a joke, I've just simply had enough of all of you.

I do this a lot.
Before I had Skyrim I probably watched almost every Skyrim walkthrough+fun things to do in Skyrim video that had over 1000 views. I think walkthroughs are great. Saves you money you may end up spending on a walkthrough book!
It is interesting to watch reviews or first looks of the game's first 20 minutes or so too. They also help me find out about different games I would have otherwise not known about. MMOhut is an awesome channel on YT if you like reviews+commentary and first looks!
Watching some good players play the games I play is also something I enjoy a lot. I was recently watching a sweet montage of one of the games I play. It had great music and visual content.
Some times I do not like watching spoilers or cheats that make you do better in a game. I'm really tempted to cheat in Skyrim since checking a few out. Of coarse I refuse, since it would take a lot of the enjoyment out of the game in the long run. _________________ "You know, the blues ain't nothing but a worried ole heart disease"-Son House |

Didn't that ruin the fun of exploring for yourself?
When I watch playthrough's it's either a couple of parts of a new game to see if I'll like it, or it's a game I'll never play, or it's a game I've already played through on my own. |

Usually with new games I tend to wait til I own the game, play bits of it and then go back and see what my favorite LPer has to say about it. |

| I love watching competitive Starcraft 2 matches. I have no actual experience playing the game in multiplayer but find tournament play fascinating as a spectator. |

OMG I do this too. My faves to watch are:
Lands of lore
Star Wars: the knights of the old republic 1 and 2
Star Wars: the old republic (newest)
I might try to find some kings quest later.
I like the commentaries, but lately with my newest obsession, some of them are a bit boring.
Lands of lore was my fave to watch, coz I love watching the old memories come pouring back into my life. _________________ Being alone is a great fear of mine-Anonymous |

Have you watched Chuggaaconroy, Kikoskia, IrateGamer or ProtonJonSA as I do watch quite a few of the ones you mentioned. _________________ www.wrongplanet.net/postp5013377.html&highlight=#5013377

I've tried Chuggaa, but I just can't. I know it's a bit silly, but it's embarrassing to try to watch his videos when he seems to get really angry whenever he fails at anything. It's like watching a little kid throw a temper tantrum. Then again I only watched some of his Okami videos, so maybe he doesn't do that anymore.
I have just started watching ProtonJon's videos. Doesn't seem to have quite as many as the others but he does seem to be very informative.
Haven't heard about the other two. I'll have to check them out. _________________ About suffering they were never wrong,
