| I don't think being single at prom is as depressing as the picture tries to convey. Either way, some of the comments from facebook users are totally uncalled for, especially since we don't even know why the picture appears the way it does. |

That kid is slow dancing with himself. Dancing with yourself is only acceptable when you are Billy Idol.
As for the kid in the photo, he just reeks of untreated Asperger's. |

i don't see any reason to assume he is serious in any way. personally, i think the guy is most likely making fun of himself. maybe his friends were teasing him so he was playing around. maybe if we had some backstory we'd have an idea of what is going on.
the slideshow on that website you linked to seems to exist for the sole purpose of mocking people.

I think your right mainly because his knuckles look drawn on and don't quite match the lighting in the room.

How sad. What a lack of creativity. Bringing a Barbie or Ken doll would be a much better choice for self deprecating yourself for not having a date.
Dancing by yourself won't get you noticed like dancing with a doll. You actually might garner enough attention dancing with the doll that you will mess up some of the other peoples' dancing. 
The doll would probably be a much better listener than any human date you could find. And your odds of not getting to see what is under their clothes after the prom are the same odds that you are too prudish to even strip a doll. Score!

That is what I think. I don't think it was photoshopped, the pink light (only used photoshop a little)

Its not photoshopped for starters. Zoom in and youll see its the shadow of his knucles by the flash that makes them look funny. Also theres no stray pixels around anything that would show it was actually photoshoped. The Sleeve did look weird to me at first but then i realized its not photoshop, the guy is wearing a suit. Meaning he has a shirt underneath, a black long sleeve shirt.
If it was a joke he wouldnt be doingit so quietly, hed be doing it more exagerated to make it look like a joke. The ONLY suitable explanations are that either he is waiting there awkwardly for someone with his arms crossed ( though he has them crossed weirdly) or that the picture shows him slow dancing by himself. |
