| Sliced wheaten (a local sweet brown yeastless bread), toasted, buttered to every edge while still hot enough to melt the butter completely, then covered to every edge with runny strawberry jam. Eaten with care to ensure that the butter and jam didn't run off the edges or make my fingers sticky. Then another one the same. |
