Pretty much.
I can't stand going to bed without listening to music for 2 hours straight.
It helps me unwind and get rid of those repetitive voices in my head. |

| I listen to music only when I want, but I consider myself obsessed because that's what I've been told *shrug*. Though headphones are a good way to not hear your relatives fighting, not hear orders etc. Definitely helped me at some point, |

| I'm obsessed with certain bands but I can't listen to it 24/7. I don't listen to music when I'm trying to sleep, except when I'm scared. I don't listen to music in public cause I get paranoid and you need your ears to be alert in traffic. I also don't use it as background music, but I still listen to it for several hours a day. And also, I don't want tinnitus and my ears can't stand much. |

HAH, when I get on the computer even for homework, I NEED music.
And my mental anxiety goes up without having my iPod on me at all times.
