Yea, expecially sense I've never been in a sexual relationship, and no one ever talks to me about emotions.

I scored 89. I'm usually happy, but I'm dramatic when I'm upset.

Mine worked fine. My score was 134, putting me well within the alexithymia zone.

I have no idea what Alexithymia is, I'll look it up. I got a score of 146. I'm actually really scared.

Edit: I just looked it up. Now I'm panicky.

Edit 2: I'm taking the test again, perhaps I didn't add it up correctly. There is just no way I'm accepting such a high friggin' score.

Edit 3: 130 is my final score. Well if there is one thing I feel, It's sadness. Sad

Could anyone else not do the test? I mean physically not because there was a technical fault. I did not know how to answer 5 of the first 10 questions so I left it as the result would have been erroneous.

For example:

Q: When asked which emotion I'm feeling, I frequently don't know the answer.
A: People do not ask me this

Q: I'm unsure of which words to use when describing my feelings.
A: As above

Q: I prefer to find out the emotional intricacies of my problems rather than just describe them in terms of practical facts.
A: I have no idea, even after thinking about it

Q: People tell me to describe my feelings more, as if I haven't elaborated enough.
A: People rarely ask me, when they do I always say I'm OK

Q: You cannot functionally live your life without being aware of your deepest emotions.
A: I don't know if I am living my life with full functionality or not.

104
95 to 112 = possible alexithymia

If I understood it correctly, it's a "personality" test. Personalities do change - a lot. Secondly, I answered the question 'in the present' not in the past - which most of my AS was active. If I answered it based on my past, probably I'll have a higher result. In some questions, I was actually torn between my past and my present, because I used to be that way but no longer now.

Try to answer this question instead: If you were asked what emotion you are feeling right now, would you know the answer?

Same as above.

I'd say your answer to that Q should be "Very Accurate" then, since you only answer with "OK".

Try answering this instead: Do you feel your deepest emoitions?

Well I took it again and tried the best I could. Some of the questions were just guesses (relationship ones) and I had to do the maths myself, but I ended up with 140.

I got 140. A lot of questions got me thinking and I remember the confusing feeling I had in my body when I was together with my ex boyfriend, he claimed that I loved him but I wasn't so sure. I thoroughly googled "love" so I would have a better understanding of the word. I'm still unsure if I loved him or not.
