i went to queer youth group so that my youth worker could help me fill out the statement part of my forms where i make my argument and she makes hers about why i cannot live at home any longer and why it would be unreasonable to keep me there. when we read the forms it said for me to fill out my name, adress, etc and she hers and then it asked if i were still living at home and if i was i should skip to the end and so should she and neither of us should make a statement describing my home life or argue my case. she thinks this is rubbish so she is writting a letter anyway. i think my claim will fail.
my contacts didnt come to the meeting.
my mum sent me a text asking if i was going out with a guy. then when she picked me up she started grilling me about why i go to the city so much(2 times a week. i restricted it so she wouldnt be suspicious). she suspects something.
i heard my mum and dad talking when we got back. i didnt hear much but what i did hear was "i know this is the sort of thing that interests her" and "i saw it on facebook". she is either talking about me or my sister. i know it is selfish but i hope she meant my sister. if she meant me then she was telling my dad about the fact that i joined a union and the antiracist group and possibly the socialist group too at uni. all would get me in trouble. i need to ask my little sis so i know where i stand. in the mean time i shouldnt act suss- it might give me away. |

Have you found the product of the base rejection rates yet? They do get rather low, even after only six schools.

I did find out the product of the rejection rates of all the schools WITH UChicago. It came out at about 40%, although I don't quite remember what it was exactly. I haven't calculated the probability without UChicago, though. I probably should, since I already got accepted to UChicago. The probability would be a lot lower.

Someone in authority's authority got bypassed... and while I could b***h to them asking why the didn't stop it... I can see that they will let it happen... instead we all get to look like b***** punks who dont want to help out overall...
