I want to know how other people cope with life. I draw, trim bonsai, pet my cat, and play with magnets when I get overwhelmed.

I read, a lot. When I get into the story I can easily block out other people unless they're really annoying, like people with high-pitched voices/annoying laughs/talking way too loud/music that annoys me.

- Reading
- Writing in my journal
- Talking about my problems with someone
- Cuddling with my cat
- Cuddling with my Alice in Wonderland plush
- Listening to music
- Singing to myself
- Giving myself manicures/pedicures
- Going online shopping (aka "retail therapy")
- Picking at zits/scabs on my skin (self-destructive, I know)
- Comfort eating (another self-destructive habit)
- Drawing (only works some of the time. Other times it makes me feel worse)
- Running (only works some of the time. Other times it makes me feel worse)

I've been writing music (mostly rap) and listening music lately when I'm feeling down and depressed from events in the past (thanks to my randomly abusive, emotionless stepdad).

Spend time with my pets, draw, play bass, write lyrics, and look at architectural photographs. I also walk and go hiking.

I crawl in bed and just lie there for the whole day. Listen to music. Daydream. Eat some sweets or junk food (which makes me sick later). Daydream. Self-harm (unfortunately). Walk around the park by myself. Talked about things to a friend when they were still around. Daydream.

Oh, and sometimes, when I randomly break down crying, I just sort of dissociate myself. While I am aware that I feel awful, another part of me inside my mind is morbidly laughing and being entertained by my own misery.

Oh, and I daydream. Very Happy

Same here, except I don't get sick. My skin takes it out on me instead.

- Buying a pint of Ben and Jerry's from the Mini Mart and sitting in front of my computer eating it all by myself (I know, I know, not a good coping skill...)

Are you really sure you have Asperger's Syndrome?
Sure as hell don't sound like it.
