Is there a Calvin and Hobbes post or should I be the first to start one? I know many others adore the comic strip as well, and it deserves the praise.
Been reading for over half my life and love it, so I'm willing to do a multi-part series to introduce the series to others. _________________ My music at: http://www.youtube.com/user/SanityTheorist5/videos

I like the strip, too. WP has some C & H avatars in their gallery, that you can use for your profile. They also have a number of other categories, including some Larsen ones. I went with a goofy looking Larsen alien, myself. |

I grew up with Calvin & Hobbes. (: When I was younger, I didn't quite understand the deeper meaning of the content in some strips, so as an adult, I have a new appreciation for the comic. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/merpeople

I'm glad to see there are people who still remember this wonderful comic strip...starting tomorrow I'll do daily installments of key themes of the strip. Today though I should be getting off by this time, so here is a good introduction for those that need refreshing:

Love that website name....Progressive Boink hehe.
Same for me Cheshire, Bill Watterson was a brilliant man, lacing dark truth with lighthearted comedy. A lot of commentary on the human condition throughout... _________________ My music at: http://www.youtube.com/user/SanityTheorist5/videos

I was going to post on them but schools apparently block all image searches. I find that bullshit...daily post in a few hours. _________________ My music at: http://www.youtube.com/user/SanityTheorist5/videos

Stop it! Don't you know that Calvin and Hobbs overdose is very dangerous?! One can only view two or three strips at the most a day! And those should be viewed at least three hours apart. |

No such thing as overdose. It is addictive though, definitely.
Too many images though? I am willing to take recommendations. I just think showing my point rather than writing about the themes of his writing or art influences is important.
Trivia: Bill Watterson was heavily influenced by Krazy Kat and Peanuts. _________________ My music at: http://www.youtube.com/user/SanityTheorist5/videos
