Bone, who looks like he should be lying on Styrofoam in the chicken cooler, wears a McIntosh cloak. When I bring out the chicks and ducks for the dogs to notice they are not to be prey, he inhales so hard their little heads almost stick to his nose. And he wants to make us happy. It is nice to have somebody around who wants to make us happy. _________________ www.leliaroseforeman.blogspot.com |

Hello. I have opened the windows and made some tea. Put some sandwiches on the table.
It is Spring now here in the s.w. I sure will miss the nice coolness of winter. Hope to be out of here by summer. |

I really have to get away from the desert. Plus I cannot afford where I am right now. So next week I'm going to offer on a house 1000 miles north. I hope it works.
and that I can survive the stress and the paperwork. |

You'll survive it all. You are a strong and powerful mountain!
But seriously, now that the paperwork is over, we are enjoying our new home. I never tire of gazing out the window at our one acre, watching the squirrels and birds and enjoying not having noisy neighbors on the other side of the wall! I hope you get what you want! _________________ Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.

Sorry, kind of dropped out of touch what with one thing and another and this stupid trojan I had to pry loose from the hard drive and stuff and junk.
We're relatively fine here; Hillary's undergoing a sinus infection that she thought for over a week was just a cold, and Iain's working though his very first ear infection (his ABA therapist asked him today how his ear felt, and he said, "Ear feels sad"). Also, Jason's medical retirement from the Army has finalized at long last, and he's going to start school on Wednesday.
On the other hand, we learned today that military medical insurance doesn't cover autism therapies; that falls under the ECHO program, which is limited to active-duty families only. Both Morgana and Iain have been receiving ABA, which has helped them a lot; unfortunately, coverage for that officially ended on the date of his retirement, Feb 28. There is a bill in Congress, HR2288, that would extend coverage to retired personnel and their families as well; trying to boost support for that is one of the things that brought me here today. Meanwhile, we now owe Morgana's therapy provider on the order of $2100, which we of course has no possible way of paying... _________________ Sodium is a metal that reacts explosively when exposed to water. Sometimes, I think I was mad to move to Florida; especially to a semi rural setting! Last night my fiance and I were just about to sit down to supper when I noticed something flying around the light fixture. Thinking that it was a moth, I grabbed the fly swatter and waited for it to land. Well, when it did I realized that it was a cockroach! EWWWWW! Not only that, but it could fly! I swatted it anyway but then realized it hadn't been alone. For the next hour we were kept busy swatting these flying pests. We have no idea where they even came from, and all of a sudden like that. When one of them flew into my face, I started to meltdown. I really hate flying insects. My fiance suspected that we had inadvertently invited them by starting a compost pile on the property. So we are going to forgo composting for now. I also made a solution of peppermint oil and water and sprayed the corners of the room. My cat didn't like it, but the critters diminished for awhile. _________________ Dreams are renewable.
