The Klonoa games, espically Klonoa 2, A very addicting game, not hard but it has that charm that anyone will love _________________ "When you begin to realize your own existence and break out of the social norm, then others know you have completely lost your mind." -PerfectlyDarkTails

Has anyone played Heroes of Might and Magic before? I have III, V and VI. Nobody I know seems to have played the game before _________________ You don't need to have the name "Dylan Chan" to be like Dylan Chan.
I'm referring to my good points, off course. |

I totally forgot about these. Both were awesome platformers. |

Really enjoyed that. |
This is the thing as a kid I didn't feel slighted at all. Sonic Adventures had what I liked about Genesis games and something new. And then they had to ruin the Sonic series.
They should have stuck with the formula of Sonic Adventures, instead of giving into Werehogs and why does Shadow the Hedgehog need a mototrcycle? Or a gun? b.s. |

Speaking of Sonic, I actually felt '06 was probably what they planned for Adventure 3 to be, and to date is probably the most similar, but it is pretty awful and buggy and not worth the title. That said, I did enjoy Sonic Unleashed for what it was, and as much as I hate Shadow, I found his game to still be a bit fun. I even enjoyed Secret Rings, which a lot of people seem to hate for some reason(and I can't understand why others think Black Knight is an improvement at all when I felt they went backwards). Still, it would be nice to have a third Adventure game that doesn't blow and isn't an obvious attempt at nostalgia. _________________ About suffering they were never wrong,

Heart of Darkness.
That game was good, but the CGI was so awful. _________________ Just a guy who gives advice and talks a lot. |

I love your choice there, I played that for hours. Loved the staff light saber and knocking people off platforms when they are in mid jump with force push.
My own contribute would be two worlds.. sure it has the worst voice acting in video game history but once i got past that i really enjoyed it |

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
That game did not sell well at all and is not popular or well known really. It's a shame though, that game is COMPLETELY underrated. Plus the reviews of the game of people who did review it were actually good. I've played it too and it is sweet. _________________ Always open to PM's. |

Prince of Persia The Sands of Time. Not to be confused with the movie of the same name, which was absolutely awful. The movie had almost nothing to do with the game except that the Prince did pakour and could use a sword.
the game got great reviews, scoring virtually perfect scores, but didn't sell well because it was seen as something older players wouldn't buy. so they made the next version full of bad language, scantily glad characters and gave the prince a very dark, angry persona. which worked in the sense that it sold a lot more copies but it ruined the overall image of the prince and the title. i still play the second version, because the free form fighting system is just amazing, and the Dahaka aspect is too. but in my mind the SoT, is the best platform game i've ever played. |

Two games I play that I don't see anyone else mentioning are Jade Cocoon(the original one) and Monster Rancher EVO.
Jade Cocoon was the first game I really liked. I loved the story line, the writing, the simplicity of the battle system, the characters and just about everything else about it. The only thing I could criticize is that it had a story line that was too brief.
Monster Rancher EVO was(and still is) my favorite Monster Rancher game. One thing I loved about this game that it had(and the others don't) is this:
In games like Monster Rancher 4, you could combine two monsters into a next generation monster, but that was about as far as they could go. In other words, if your monsters were too weak to explore certain places or win certain battles(Say... Grade S or Kalaragi Jungle+ ?) Then you couldn't expect comining already combined monsters to have any real effect. But in Monster Rancher EVO, you can combine them repeatedly and consistently get better results(If you understand the science of combining), and raising your monsters was easier in that game too. Attacking was also easier due to lower guts costs.

4) Spyro the Dragon (PS1 games) - I could go on a rant about how the newer games made the series fall, but that's for another post. I know they did re-release these games on PSN, but even more hype around the originals (along with Stewart Copeland actually releasing the full soundtracks to the fans ) could revive the old fanbase!! |
I actually LIKED one of those games... Dawn of the Dragon(Designed by Sierra, I believe) was actually quite well done in my opinion, but I will agree with you about the games Vivendi Universal and Vicarious Visions designed... |
