For a really strong kick, I use Chasers 5-Hour Energy.

I've tried that, it lasted a couple of days and I felt as energetic as I would ever want to.

I like Monster and Red Bull. Also like Starbuck mocha frappochinos (bottled kind) if that counts. I'm so sensitive to caffiene almost any caffienated beverage is a energy drink to me. My cardiologist said I can't drink them anymore though. Mad

The weird thing about energy drinks is that I find them repulsive but good at the same time. Must be the caffeine. I really don't drink energy drinks at all unless they're being handed out in free samples. And then I might take four or so. Smile

Most of them do taste like a cross between SweetTarts and cough syrup. There's reports that say the buzz you get from them is very temporary just from the enormous amounts of sugar and caffiene and you actually feel worse a few hours later than you did before you drank it. You get a blood sugar crash from them. If I drink a full can of Monster I am like that squirrel in the Hoodwinked movie. I read there has been a sharp increase with young people ending up in the ER with cardiac symptoms since the increased popularity of energy drinks.

I haven't tried that many, but I liked Monster. It tastes like candy, man.
