Dawn of the Dead (original). What's not to love about this?
Fulci's Zombie/Zombie Fleah Eaters. Come on a zombie fighting a shark how can you not like that?
Re-Animator. Where do I start on why I love this film. Like Dawn of the Dead it's perfection. _________________ DISCLAIMER: Any posts posted on walls/threads are not meant to offend, they are my opinion/s and mine alone. If you feel insulted by them then use the compose button to discuss it with me.

Shaun of the Dead for me, Zombieland was also pretty good. _________________ Blast Reality! Burst it into shreds! Banishment... this world! |

Zombieland explained it completely. Mad cow disease mutated into a fast acting mad human disease. It started from gas station hamburgers. |

Yes that is one thing I liked about the movie zombieland but I hate when zombies just appear and no one knows what caused the zombie virus its a fallacy when they do that. |

I personally would put Re-animator at the top of my list. Big Lovecraft fan.

| How could I forget Re-Animator? The first one is a masterpiece. The third one's also terrific. The second one I can take or leave. |

For me it's the original. The two sequels are apocryphal to me.

Yes I totally agree with you. Like the first and second which I like too('Don't let the little head rule the big head'. 'He's a wifebeater Dan,use the gun!'). The audio commentary from Jeffrey Combs and Bruce Abbott on the Bride dvd is a riot.
As for Beyond Re-Animator I like to think it never happened. In my fan canon version of the Re-Animator verse it never happened well not fully. Totally different from the first two and has this cheapness about it. Also no Bruce Abbott as Dan Cain might have something to do with it. Ahh Dan Cain you are not as bright as Herbert but you are nice eye candy for me to watch. (Yes Im female)Looking forward to the Re-Animator blu ray that is meant to be coming out this year, as soon as a release date is annouced it's getting pre-ordered on Amazon. _________________ DISCLAIMER: Any posts posted on walls/threads are not meant to offend, they are my opinion/s and mine alone. Since I've only seen five zombie movies, here are my top 5:
5. 28 Days Later (2002): Only saw this one recently. I'll give it credit for redefining the genre and its crazy editing, but it was way too "in my face" like most horror films for me to really enjoy it.
4. Night Of The Living Dead (1968): A true classic that laid the groundwork for the genre. Problem is that it's kind of starting to show its age, but that's a problem not uncommon with horror classics.
3. Shaun Of The Dead (2005): I was amazed at how smart this film was. It perfectly blended the realms of horror and comedy while staying true to the zombie subgenre. Needless to say that this was the film that made me a Simon Pegg fan.
2. Dawn Of The Dead (1978): Unlike its predicessor, it gave the survivors more room to fight the zombies. They got pretty creative with their survival tactics too with the shopping mall as the backdrop.
1. Zombieland (2008): Since this is more comedy than horror, it's the only zombie movie I can watch with a casual viewing. The fact that I'm a fan of all the principle actors in it is just icing on the cake. |

But did he really fight them? I thought he pretty much dressed as one in order to survive, and hid away in his house. Still, I wish he would have lived.

| I recently watched a movie called zombie wars the zombies where making humans breed so they could eat their children as babies the whole movie was awful and not a logical zombie movie nor did they say what caused the zombie virus. |
