I tried to read that book and gave up two pages into it. There was a glossary in the back for all the slang, but I've got better things to do with my time.

Great film, haven't read the book but.... great film.

ohmigod you learned the language!

I read the book (had to keep going to the glossary) and the movie has aged eerily well. Something I did not like about the book was the author's description of the movies he was forced to watch. I am much too sqeamish but made myself read them out of continuity of the plot. Years later, I still get shivery, horrible feelings when some of those images he described crops up in my brain.

A fine book. But I just couldn't be bothered to learn the language.

I dunno - couldn't like Alex as an antihero because he rapes little girls. To me, that alone justifies his 'reeducation'.
