My mom does something similar to this with McDonald's french fries dipped in vanilla milkshake. She says that the hot salty fries and the cold sweet milkshake are a lovely contrast.
I have tried it (under duress I should admit) and did not find it awful but wouldn't do it of my own volition either. |

I have a grown-up Aspie friend who swears that dipping 'McNuggets' into strawberry milkshake is her favourite thing ever, and absolutely delicious! I won't go near it, personally, and it gets us more weird looks than even I'm used to when we eat in! _________________ 'I may not amount to much, but at least I am unique.' ~ Jean-Jacques Rousseau

When I lived overseas I learend to like egg plant on pizza and also learned to like sliced boiled eggs on pizza. In addition, tried and liked different foods to include octupus, mussels and clams. _________________ "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure." |

Green salad or cucumber salad with yogurt dressing and gravy. Somehow, salad dressing and gravy make a perfect combination. It's even better if the gravy is hot. Warm salad that tastes like meat... yummy |

I'm going to try that. I sometimes lightly salt coffee, it takes the bitter off if it's too much. _________________ Not currently a moderator |
