What the thread title says really. My profile page is here. I'm using Soundcloud for convenience's sake more than anything since I don't need to make visuals to go with the music like I would for Youtube.
Everything I've uploaded so far is a re-recorded version of what I did for the RPM Challenge last month, but I'm still learning the ropes in terms of mic placement, mixing, etc. For those interested in the tech details, the guitars and bass are done in one take each, with drums programmed in Cubase. The bass tracks are done through a Sansamp DI box but I did the guitar parts through a mic'd up amp in the normal way. It's all instrumentals right now, but I want to try to teach myself how to use the Vocaloid software and do some more 'conventional' songs with lyrics in them. One thing at a time though.
I'm a complete amateur, but I hope you enjoy. More to come as soon as I can get around to it. |
