Anyone pick up on how Santorum has taken an anti-intellectual turn as of late? Apparently playing up to a non-college educated crowd, he says Obama only wants them to go to college in order to have them indoctrinated by "liberal college professors." On top of that, he says people without college educations are doing just fine in the job market (no, they're not) - - regardless of the fact that Santorum himself is an educated man, and has provided all his children with college educations. Frothy is obviously playing up to the anti-intellectual crowd who Palin and W. had both found support among.

Yeah, I saw that. He also noted that college = loss of faith. Which is something fundie preachers have mentioned in the past. Seems like kind of an irresponsible message for a 21st century political candidate.

My hopes have gone up quite a bit for Obama's reelection, as the debates rage on. Santorium's so extreme, and Romney's so wooden I don't see them defeating him. I just can't see a Tea Party uprising on this election.

It's more about the way Santorium is equating any higher aspirations with elitism. According to his statements, wanting to improve yourself through education and having an open mind is a short road to being a liberal snob who thinks they are better than everyone else. That people respond to statements like these make me want to bash my head against a wall repeatedly....

There are a few bazillionaires who will be spending kazillions of dollars to elect a Repugnican. Advertising always has a huge impact on American elections.

There a few bazillionaires that vote to elect Democrats too, they're not any different at all. Obama is the most pro-Wall Street president in history.

Democrats are coming out to vote for Santorum in the MI primary just to F with Romney. Today Romney says it's "disgusting". Yet just last month he smiled while saying that's what he did in Massachusetts to cause trouble for Democrats.

The guy can't remember what he says from one month to the next. Or he just doesnt care.

Gee he's annoying! If Santorum didn't say it this guy sure said it enough, heavily peppered with F-bombs. I only listened to half of it and that was enough.....
