I wonder what logic is in the dreams of fellow WP users. Mine is usually about contenplating the universe, human rights and plans of good intentions.

Common dream themes for me are:

Flying. - not as fun as it sounds. no one notices, it's almost like swimming really, so Im only a few feet of the ground.

Teeth falling out - normally a feeling like my jaw is locked and I'm forcing my jaw closed until teeth snap. I probably am grinding my teeth outside the dream world. I have also lost my three front teeth, but this dream pre-dates that.

Hiding - Zombies, aliens, nazi storm troopers with guns. This is normally in a childhood home setting. I never have a gun. I remember having this dream at age 6.

School - Replays of various school dreams. normally failing, or going to university and being in over my head (particularly creative as I haven't been to a bricks and mortar university)

Irrational sexual dreams - I consider these anti-fantasies as I'm having sex with very odd people. often acquaintances (either gender) who I have no particular attachment or attraction to. it often feels like I'm being raped, but don't care.

Supernatural powers - If I read enough fantasy then occasionally I get some magic powers, e.g. teleportation.

So common theme, it's mainly me being unrecognised or inconsequential to others.

Jason.

Currently, I'm having repetitive dreams about losing my ability to live on my own. I guess that makes it pretty obvious what my biggest fear is right now....

WHen I remember to try to dream (if I tell myself to dream and remember than I remember, otherwise I don't) I usually seem to be in a rush, or have to get away or to something

I have dreams about:

-My current special interests

-Death, illness and accident

-Committing Crimes

-People not listening to me

I don't have "typical" dreams, like dreams about flying or falling very often.

I have nightmares ... I wake up in a cold sweat about 4 o'clock every morning. They usually involve being chased by zombies. Also, people I care about are in danger and I'm trying not to lose them.

Sometimes I do not remember my dreams and when I do remember it seems my dreams include my family to include parents and sister and sometimes uncles and/or aunts. The past year I have been worried about one or two family members so it makes sense that I am having dreams that sometimes include them. Question

My dreams are very realistic. I'll do things like not remember whether I'd fed my cat yet that day or not because I am not sure whether the memory is from a dream. I've had a dream where it took more than 6 months to find out it was a dream, because I thought the conversation in it had occurred and it apparently hadn't.

Mine involve complex fantasy worlds, usually taking place in malls or in enclosed buildings. Often, I'll also have ones where I'm trying to take care of a sick baby or animal and somehow I'll end up killing them. It's all about responsibility and how I'm not adjusting to adulthood roles very well.

My dreams usually take place in an elaborate, large, dark and eerie building that is like a school with a shopping mall attached to it. The top floor of the school looks like the top floor of my elementary school, while the bottom floor, basement, schoolyard and cafeteria resemble my junior high. The mall barely resembles the mall in my city. Its stairs and escalators hover, though sometimes the 2nd floor is completely gone and all there is are railings in front of the shops. During these dreams I always have a sense that something terrible is about to happen at any moment.

Different scenarios take place in my dreams:

Teeth falling out - I have been frequently dreaming lately that my adult teeth get loose and fall out. At first only one falls out, but as the dream goes on I quickly lose more teeth until there are many gaps in my mouth.

Running home - Sometimes I dream that I've been left alone at school or the grocery store and that I have to walk home. Sometimes I get lost on the freeway or in the mountains, but other times I remember to take the path that leads to my home, which is the same, nearly identical path I took in real life from my elementary school to my childhood home. I often feel like I'm being followed or chased in these dreams.

Sharing housing/showers with other women - Sometimes I either dream that I am on a reality show or in a dormitory or school trip where I have to sleep and bathe with other women. I have always found the idea of living with women my age exciting, since I loved sleepovers with my best friend when I was a child. So in these dreams I feel excited and happy. But these dreams never get beyond the process of unpacking my clothes and deciding who sleeps in what bed.

Reuniting with childhood friends - Since I often dream of school, then it's no surprise that I also dream of my childhood friends. Most of the time they are happy to see me, but sometimes they are hostile or fail to notice me at all. With my best friend, all the interactions are intensified. Most of the time she reacts positively to me, with us becoming as close as we were when we were younger, or even becoming lovers, as I have always wished we could be. She always invites me over to her house, which in the dream-world looks like a cross between a mansion and a dollhouse. Her family is always happy to see me and welcomes me with open arms.

Inappropriate dreams - Sometimes I dream of bizarre sexual or scatological things. At best I will simply wake up and go 'WTF', but at worst these dreams leave me feeling disgusted and disturbed for the entire day. I won't go into details.

I mostly have dreams about situations where I'm in a panic, like:-

--missing the bus
--going out without putting clothes on
--taking my cat somewhere far away then accidently losing her
--having to stay somewhere with lots of people I don't know
--being confronted or humiliated in public
--falling out with friends or having big arguments with my family
--doing something incredibly awful to somebody then regreting it
--getting into trouble at the job centre for not doing any job searches
--having to go back to High School
--people making me sit somewhere under a loud bell that's going to ring loudly any minute
--dogs attacking me
--the world ending
--having my special interests being took away from me (ie, my favourite bus service being stopped)
--spiders in my room

Obviously every dream I have is different, the ''plot'' is laid out differently, but nearly every time I dream they're usually about the above. Sometimes I have nice dreams where I finally have the chance to date my bus-driver.

A lot of them are nightmares, or dreams combined with nightmares, but sometimes they just come from normal life and what I observe.
