Name's Kareninovna, though you can call me Karen. I was dx'd a year or so ago with Asperger's after previously being misdiagnosed with ADHD. (And being put on unneeded meds. Woo!) Besides my AS, I have GAD and depression, which have been rearing their ugly heads as of late. It's not as bad as it could be, but it's a situation I'd prefer to get out of. And finding a nice community should help, yes? :'D So yes. This place looks good for support and communication and whatnot.
A bit about me: I'm a teenage girl in the junior year of high school, flipping out over college. I'm fond of math, psychology, language, art, and literature. Right now I'm taking Psych 101 at the local uni and working on a research paper discussing overlap between ADHD and autism, namely misdiagnosis of the former. It's coming along at a snail's pace.
