[Don't mind the tone of this post too much. It's the indignant and justified kind of anger.]

According to Mary Megson, M.D., a DAN! doctor in Virigina, a review of 60 children with autism revealed that 56 (93%) of the children had at least one parent who suffered from nightblindness. Dr. Megson speculates that this is due to a lack of Vitamin A or thyroid disorders.

Next, they say this:

A DAN! Doctor's Recommendations

Weight Daily Dosage Frequency Duration Total 2 Day Dosage
Less than 35 lbs 200,000 IU 3 daily (67,000 IU each / 13 drops) 2 days 400,000 IU
Over 35 lbs 400,000 IU 3 daily (133,000 IU each / 27 drops) 2 days 800,000 IU
Alternative 250,00O - 300,000 IU (Middle-ground) 3 daily 2 days 500,000 IU- 600,000 IU

Are they crazy!? 25 000 IU is already acutely toxic and they expect you to believe that 400 000 IU (even over two days) is anywhere near safe?

My mother has it and I'm developing it now. We both have thyroid trouble.

My mom does somewhat but she says she didn't have a problem with this when she was younger.
