Study: Homophobes May Be Hidden Homosexuals

| I almost feel sorry for them. Living like that must twist your guts/mind up in a terrible way, BUT when they make other gay people's lives more difficult and dangerous my sympathy goes out the window. |

Much like former Mayor Jim West of Spokane, who had built a career on homophobia - only to lose his job in a special election, after it was discovered he was contacting young gay men on municipal computers. Or former Senator Larry Craig, who, after building a career also on homophobia, got outed after he had admitted to a morals charge in an airport restroom with an undercover cop.

This could be a possibility. Many virulent anti-semites have a Jewish background they would like to hide or eliminate.
