Sexuality confuses the fuk outta me so I dont even label anything. I am heterosexual but personality wise I am very effeminate and I like girly thing. I prefer to hang out with girls, and I get along best with teenagers and much younger crowds. I also have to force myself to be dominant as my sex drive isnt great and I LOVE kissing and hugging which can be a turn off to many girls.

Just be who you are and don't make excuses for it. That's all.

This whole sexuality determination is really retarded. alot of people called me a homo in high school. but doesn't mean i was one. i used

to hang with girls. hold hands with one. but seriously, who cares. sure we all get defensive but what's the point of knowing your sexuality

when all you do is get a headache out of it. not everyone in the whole world has to reproduce or get laid. if you feel it, then know your

boundaries.

It takes a stick and a road to reach the end of the journey. i don't think this is my right saying. but i'll say it anyway.

I feel as though I should have been born male and every person or character that I've identified with has always been male.

I voted Hetero but I may be Asexual. I know I'm attracted to men, but the sacrifices for healthy relationships disgust me. I may grow out of it though.

For accuracy purposes someone who born a man, becomes a "woman", and are attracted to men, should select either select homosexual or bisexual (if also attracted to women).

Same is true for someone born a woman, if you are born a woman, become a "man", and are attracted to women, you are not straight

Not really. If you said transsexuals are either attracted to women, men, or both, or neither, just like everyone else, I'd agree.

But the heterosexual and homosexual labels require one's own gender/sex to be easily and simply defined, and so, it seems to me, don't really fit for a transsexual unless they've first clearly defined their gender/sex as male or female.

In other words, their sexuality is the same as non-transsexuals, but the usual labels don't fit as easily.

No it is easy to identify the sexual orientation of a transsexual, it is based on the gender they are BORN with. Have a Y chromosome then you are a man when it comes to sexual orientation. Simple as that.

And who are you to tell people what they should catagorize themselves as? I think if someone physically female identifies as male or has a sex change and are attracted to females they could say they are straight....because they had a sex change because they are actually male and born with the wrong body so to speak.

That's ONE way to look at it. Not the only.

These are human words. We create them and decide what they mean. We define the borders of what the words mean. And we aren't necessarily all going to agree with regards to the fuzzy boundaries, including how these terms apply to transgender people.

No, but you have define if you are a man or a woman in order to know if liking women makes you homosexual or heterosexual. DVCal is giving an opinion on how transsexuals should determine that.

I can't imagine how a post op mtf having intercourse with a man is anything but straight. According to them if you were born a man it's still gay.

Well here is my opinion, almost all people are homosexual. If a man likes a man or a woman than he is homosexual. There we go, case closed

Well who is he to tell transsexuals how they should determine their sexuality? some of them actually uhh basically identify as the opposite gender. So for instance, insisting a male to female transexual identify as a male so that they can define their sexuality the way someone else wants is actually rude if anything.

I am of the opinion if one identifies as female, and is attracted to females........they can consider them-self a lesbian if they want to. If they are more of the type of guy who just likes to dress as a female sometimes but does not nessisarily identify as one and is attracted to females, it might make more sense for them to consider them self straight.
