Well, here I go then.
I used to browse this forum when I was about 15 and awaiting a diagnosis for AS which the majority of adults around me believed I had. It took a good few years to finally get diagnosed by which point I had left school and was in college, which is where I am now. I was diagnosed with AS when I was 18 and from about the age of 15 I have amassed an interesting collection of diagnoses.
Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, severe depressive disorder, anxiety, dyslexia and unstable emotional personality disorder. I'm also awaiting a diagnosis for dyspraxia and have undiagnosed Gender Identity Disorder, which I go back and forth about believing.
So yeah, officially that's me. But there is a whole lot more to me once people get past all that. I am off to university soon and plan to keep my diagnoses to myself for as long as possible. There is no denying that people treat you differently when they hear all this.
Anyway, also about me. I live in England, I go to college and I'm 19 years old (I have had an AS diagnosis for less than a year). I'm about to finish my A levels and I am set to do quite well, and there's no doubt that this surprises a lot of my teachers.
I suppose that's it
