Hi all. I'm kind of new here.. I first joined in 2008 but forgot my user name and password so I'm back with a new name.. hopefully I will be a more active poster under this one...
I just turned 31 last month and all my life I felt different.. I always kept to myself and it's been very hard for me to make(and keep) friends. It's also hard for me to express myself.. I don't know what words to use and sometimes I have trouble following peoples' conversations. It's not that I don't want to make friends, I do, I just don't know how to go about doing it(if that makes any sense).
I do have one best friend - but she is 31 years older than me and sometimes it seems odd having a friend who is so much older but she has helped me a lot with my depression, anxiety, etc.
I work in retail, usually getting about 40 hours a week and sometimes it can be very stressful!! Anyhow, that's enough about me; hope I can find some support here.  |
