I'm doing a presentation for school on these Canadian provinces and would like to include some fun, lesser known facts to make it more interesting. Any suggestions? _________________ "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons; for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup." |

I live in Nova Scotia. I know that we have the most post-secondary institutions per capita for any province in Canada. Halifax has the most with 6 universities and 3 community colleges.
A couple of well-known actors Donald Sutherland and Ellen Page are from the maritime provinces.
That's probably the extent of interesting facts I know about. Hope that helps |

It does, thanks! From the pictures and videos I have seen, Nova Scotia looks absolutely beautiful, by the way. It seems like a cool place to live. I'm really into my Celtic heritage, too, so it seems like Cape Breton Island would be someplace I would really like as well. I hope to get a chance to visit. _________________ "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons; for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup." |
