| The problem with myself is I let myself get conned by the pathological liars. They seem like nice friends, and make you feel obliged to help them. I can't believe I got conned by a sociopathic liar, and a pathological liar. (so eager to please just to get your trust). I just cut this guy off my life, but why is it that some autistic people don't see things coming??? |

Simple reason...we often can't read the physical clues that liars give and often have difficulty picking up on verbal clues that would give them away too.
After 20 years I still can't tell when my wife is either pissed at me or just being sarcastic in a humorous way. And usually get it wrong. |

| Because of this I've started just assuming the worst at all times. If somebody could be lying to me or trying to use me I just assume that's the case and go with it. I won't go so far as to do something to let them know that's how I feel; I just try to find a friendly way to say no. |
