I can say I've done both.....there was the time I was drunk, took 60 mgs of adderall and then ate some shrooms, not going to lie it felt amazing but I imagine that would be more abuse than simple use as it was a bit extreme.

I never got into mixing mostly because of the health issues (OP was probably okay with a Vikadin and a beer but any more of it and his liver is on a skillet), that and it seems like if you mix the wrong things together - almost as bad as having a bad experience or overaccelleration - is having a bunch of dead spots created in the experience and being rendered half sober for a whole lot of money spent.

Oh yes mixing things can be quite dangerous, I mean I commonly will use cannabis and drink at the same time, I've done vicodin with alcohol...it was funny the last time I took vicodin one of my friends was telling me I was going to puke because I was drinking a pint of beer with it but yeah that never took place I just ended up feeling quite relaxed. Thing is one should try and be aware of their tolerance and what they are used to. I mean yeah I can probably pop a vicodin wash it down with a beer and be fine.....someone else my size with a lower alcohol tolerance for instance could face some nasty side effects from such a combination. I mean some people can't even handle alcohol and cannabis together without getting totally trashed, for me that's a normal saturday night....and I would have to really over-do the drinking to get trashed typically I just get a pleasant relaxed feeling and am still quite coherant for the most part.

Well right, the usual big concern is alcohol with either uppers, downers, or opiates. Also I've heard enough that clove cigarettes (for those with 60's flowerchild habits) is also not the best thing for people to do on a night out at the festival.

Exactly, I've drank with all three, and I have heard clove cigarettes are more unhealthy than regular ones, but I have yet to investigate why or anything.

Yeah, I can attest that mixing opiates and alcohol is very unwise. Because of internal organ damage in my case, as I already have a fatty liver and sand in my kidneys. Experience wise I find it a great mix however.

I did mix benzos and lots of beer once, with shameful results that are pretty easy to guess. Embarassed

We had a house party where we had a guy over who'd probably drank half to 2/3 of a fifth of Jack and a girl gave him Klonipin. It was scary, in that he fell all over things, passed out, we had to lift him on to the couch and during the night I heard a thud because he fell back on the basement floor. For better or worse he was one of those guys who was an ex-heroin addict/dealer and had done enough drugs on several occasions prior to kill a horse (proverbially), I'm just glad I didn't end up in a situation where I had to explain to the local PD why I had a dead guy in my basement - so that little idea of his could have gone badly to say the least.
