in that thread you were not blameless - you were not being very nice to that other person either. that member is not a bully and just asked you to prove what you were saying. in that situation, you were NOT a victim. a person cannot always expect other members on the site to treat them delicately because other people have needs and expectations of their own.
if you would look at that member's posts, you would see that they have been going through a hard time in their own life, so perhaps you could show them a little consideration instead of attacking them like this.
