I must say I've found those giant puppets rather cool and fascinating. I wonder what will happen to them after all the festivities are over. Will they be sold? Will they be put on display somewhere?

I had amazing time when they were in my city, the pace the puppets moved made it possible to walk along side them.
No from what I know Royal de Luxe regularly use those puppets of other events. I know this as the street theatre company given rare access to there workshop in France (were the puppets are kept) to my local newspaper the Liverpool Echo as part of an interview with Jean-Luc Courcoult.

I live in the city centre of Liverpool, here's a youtube of the neighbourhood I live in its called Canning & also know as the Georgian Quarter (Its called that cos' of the listed buildings in the area, I live in a Grade II listed Georgian Terraced house )

^^ If that happened then my landlord, the city council, English Heritage and myself would have a duck egg. Its the most expensive area of the city of housing, I know most of my rent goes on conservation costs.
