Just wondering. Can't really think of what to put here besides the question. Obviously from how I worded the question (had to fiddle with it to be able to make it fit) my stance is that it should not be illegal. Should have the same laws as alcohol, so in the US it would be legal for 21+. I know this is just a variant of make pot legal! But I was wondering what people think is making it still illegal (or if it is just that it has been, so it is still) or why it should be.

And if people think I am only saying that it should be legal because I am a pothead I don't smoke it cause it is illegal.

It should not be illgeal because it grows from the earth and is natural the only reason it is illgeal is because hemp was gonna replace trees and put the lumber companies out of work.

It should be illegal because Jesus says so.

Jesus never spoke about drugs in any of his teaches or sermons.

It should not have been made illegal in the first place.

If weed were legal, corporations would put middle-class drug dealers out of business with their mass produced, logistically optimal weed.

Well they would have to learn a lot about quality because most people who smoke marijuana aren't going to go for crap. If smaller marijuana buisinesses produced a better product they'd stay in buisiness. I imagine it would end up like beer which can come mass produced and crappy or high quality and from a smaller brewery.

But it would be better if it just hadn't been made illegal to begin with.
