Not really. It's just that there are so many British people on WP that I don't understand a lot of things they say. Which is fine, really, because it's a kind of cultural identity after all. Laughing

So far there are posts from me, and Jess, and a random objecter, and me, and me, and, er, me again...

Crying or Very sad

*sigh*

Either it will die a horrible death or just suddenly catch on and become a sticky.

You just never can tell!

Edit: ooh the objector has now joined in!

cheers

Ohhhhhh! I thought you meant the number of times you'd heard idiots mocking your accent and using that phrase...

I'm actually from N. Yorks originally so I have a Northern trang myself (though I don't speak in dialect) so I promise I wasn't taking the mick. Wink

Do people really say "eh oop, lass" then?

I thought it was just a stereotypical thing that nobody actually says (a bit like "och aye the noo" up here in Scotland).

I intend to use my new SD card for the device known as the Panasonic HDC-SD800 camcorder which I recently purchased for £420 (but they're now selling it for £380 Evil or Very Mad ), for filming purposes.
